My Week #7

This week was somewhat a typical week for me. The only thing that's fascinating was my new stationaries lol. Anyway, during the weekends some of my churchmates and I supposedly will go for an overnight getaway in Batangas but it got cancelled due to some problem at the place we were supposed to stay in. On the other hand, our pastor invited us for a joint fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Calauan,Laguna (already made a post about it). Then on Sunday, we also had another joint fellowship together with the Korean Women Youth members in our church. After that, I headed to MOA to meet my mom and to attend the last day of Travel Expo. We were close to buying tickets for Thailand but then the promo will start on July so my mom and I hesitated and did not push through about it.

This is a really short post and it's kinda late so my mind is not functioning properly lol.

P.S.

Speaking of my churchmates, my brothers there who were closest to me were bugging me at this time >.< They were calling me just to say that they were having a chat about our past moments (which btw were PRECIOUS to us!). Aw! They are really the sweetest brothers in Christ. I am so lucky to meet have meet them :) Thank you father God!

Stationary haul

Being so keen with decorating my planner, I can't help but be drawn to cute stationary stuff. For the past few years, the only stationary that I would usually buy were planners and tiny post it flags for my reviewers and books. I forgot how stationary junkie I was then. It suddenly changed at the end of last year. I don't know how but it's like I am back to my 10 year old self again and can't resist buying different kinds of stationary items. From note pads to sticky notes to now being popular- washi tapes.

Today, I went to the mall and bought another add-on to my collections.
  • Sticky notes
This is a random purchase. I just saw these at the grocery store and was attracted to them so I bought it lol!

How cute are these cupcake sticky notes? The simplicity of the design made it so yummy for my eyes (now if only I can eat them lol)

How about these amazing territorial type ones? My favorite purchase here are the two up top. The Parisian themed ones. Who could not fall in love with the colors and design? Can't decide between the two so I got them both instead lol. And besides, it's Paris who can resist that majestic place even if it is only in a sticky notes form haha! The flag ones on the other hand I bought just because those are my dream countries to visit some day (hoping...dreaming..BIG).
  • Neon Label Tags
I really planned on getting these label tags just because I wanted to use them for keeping track of our bills.
  • Pens
I am running low of my Dong-A G-Tech pen so I decided to buy a back up. While my Frixion pen I forgot to get to my mom so I decided to buy a new one. Thankfully it's available here in the Philippines so I am really really happy. This pen is by far my favorite pen this year.

I said to my cousin that I won't be buying any stationary stuff in any form for now. Of course she did not believe me lol!

Feeling a bit girlie...

I usually would not go wearing a dress nor a skirt when I go somewhere commuting and not taking our car. But I saw this skirt and is feeling the pattern so I decided to wear this paired with a casual shirt and a vintage belt from Italy (courtesy of my aunt lol). The people who saw me though were shocked a little because they are not used to seeing me all lady like in a skirt haha! And I have gotten alot of compliments on my skirt btw! So thank you all! :)

Stole my brother's shirt kinda day...

Today is another day where I decided to step out of the box and wore something I seldom wear. Sneakers and super baggy shirt. I was feeling casual today so I decided to stole borrow  this shirt from my brothers closet lol. I think I am going to keep it from now on just because I like how comfortable it  was and I can lounge this around our house anytime.

My Week #6

I had such a busy week. We are having some problems in our household so I had to assist my mom in dealing with it. I've been driving her around back and forth for 3 days to our destination which was very very tiring because it was an all day agenda and an hour drive to get there.

My week on this page:
  • I made my mom a home management binder to help her with our everyday budget and finances. But unfortunately she does not use it :(
  • I have been listening on repeat "Blessing Song" which is a Christian song. This has been a favorite this year at church.
  • My friend from London called me. Thank you viber! Lol!

On this page:

  • I went to Laguna for my Boyfriend's niece's birthday. I was supposed to go on Friday but then it was also my cousins birthday so I had to postpone it and go the next day instead. We celebrated it on Saturday which was another busy day. We had to deal with all the preparations, entertaining and stuff. In the evening, my boyfriend and I opted to watch a movie and getaway from all the troubles and noise from the guests.
  • I went with my churchmate to visit 3 thrift stores in Taft Mrt station. I must say those stores offer so many pretty items. I was drawn to this particular thrift store that sells alot of second hand and new shoes. I am actually proud of myself for not buying a single thing! haha! I kept on thinking the word "save" (money!) Lol!

My Week 5

This day was so busy! And I am dead tired! argh! I was out all day! Driving around doing errands and favors for my mom. Good thing I was able to capture few shots of my week.

This will be a quick one 'coz there was nothing really going on last week. The only thing that excite me was receiving my ASCP membership card for their online site lol. And that's it. All were just random things. Nothing special.

Here's my week:

Oh! right! I was scheduled to clean the Powder Room in our church. And so I did. Twas fun actually. I take every work I do for our church as an opportunity to be of service not only to our whole church but most of all to God :)

By the way, I want to share my favorite verse last Sunday:

"Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you."
- Isaiah 35:3-4
