My Week #47

This week, I went for a Hello Kitty theme because I really wanted to use one of the HK washi tapes I ordered at Hobby Depot.

Nothing really big happened this week. But there were 3 occasions noted special on my week.

 Got a new camera!

Bought this for only 3,500 pesos from my co-worker. Since I needed a small handy camera to use as a vlogging camera on my YT channel, I decided to buy it from her. And it's super cheap!

Happymail from my penpal May!

My very first Filipina penpal! And a very creative person I must say. She sent me so many things! But what I was really excited about was the slider card she made for me. She really took the time to make this happymail special!

Video was featured again on Philofaxy web finds the second time around.

I was first included on their web finds a few months back. And now I was included again! Thank you to the whole Philofaxy team!
It's always a dream for most Filofax users to be featured on their site and I was one of the lucky ones haha! #feelingblessed

So that concludes my week 47. Now onto Paperlovestory's site to see what other people have on their week ^.^

Gratitude

I received a few pieces of journaling cards from Sugarpandax3's RAK last month. In one of those cards included this one particular card that sums up sort of my principle in life.

Ever since I have learned all about being positive (thru The Secret), there's no day that has gone by that I have not thought even one happy thing that I have encountered, received, experience in one day. It has become my habit to think happy things everyday. Whether its a simple compliment from my co-worker or was shared a food by someone or just a phone call from my boyfriend or family, for me it is something to be considered as a good thing that happened in my day.

And from that way of thinking, I became a firm believer and doer of gratitude.

I started writing in a gratitude journal since 2008 after reading The Secret. Ever since then, every year I always see to it that I have a new notebook to use as my gratitude jounal/diary of good things. I do not know how many notebooks I have already used since I started, but until now I am still applying it into my life. Right now, I am using the green Apex Filofax as my spiritual journal. And in one section I have included my gratitude journal since this also uplifts my spirit.

As a result, I noticed that I have become more appreciative-in people, in things,... to God. I have also learned to value everything that I have (from pens, to papers, to our house, the food we eat, etc). Plus, When I feel down or some negativity pops up, I still think about something good in my day. Even if its only one good thing, atleast I have something to be thankful about.

A page I cut out from The Secret Gratitude journal

My week #38

This week is all about last minute preparation for my new job. My boss asked me to process the license to operate the laboratory that I will be working on. It was such a big task to carry because I was handling all the documents relating to the licensing. I assumed it was a one day (Sept. 19) process but it turned out that I lack few necessary requirements so I had to go back again the next day (Sept. 20) to complete everything.

And then it was also my boyfriends birthday on the 20th. I was a little depressed that day because I don't get to be with my him on his special day. :(

I also done with reading "The Happiness Project" and did you know what I found out?....

Gretchen Rubin uses a Filofax!!!!
My heart jumped when I learned she was using on. I was more than motivated to use my Filofax now ^.^

So how was your week guys?!

My Week #35

I have been quite a busy bee this week. On my previous post I have shared that I have been RAK'd by three amazing people. So I ended up filming quite few videos and tried my hardest to upload it immediately.

But before that, I met up with my High School girlfriends on Monday because one of our friend arrived from Dubai and she wanted to see us. She treated us at Gilligan's and Dairy Queen. Then gave each 5 of us a ring as a souvenir from Dubai.

Then come Tuesday, it was the 41st monthsary of my boyfriend and I. Of course as usual we didn't get to see each other because he has a duty at the hospital. :(

I received then a claim stub on Wednesday for the first parcel I received which was from Ali. Then on Thursday I went to the post office to claim it.

Friday, Love's package came. And it was delivered to our house this time.

It is such a great opportunity and I am so honored that I get to meet these girls. It is not about the things that they have given me but the friendship and the acceptance that they  have given to a stranger like me. I can proudly say that I am really lucky and blessed that God had lead me to meet them.

Anyway, without further ado.... I now present to you my new FILOFAXes!

I can never forget this week...

 How was your week everyone?

I got RAK'd

Hi guys!

So...... I have a super exciting post today....

Last week, I received two RAKs from 3 most wonderful, sweet, thoughtful and amazing (I can't describe them enough! they are the best!) people I have ever met online.

Read on guys and see what exciting goodies they got from me...

I received this first goodies from Alisha and her mom.It all started out as Alisha messaged me on Youtube two months ago telling me that they wanted to send me something. And so from then on we have been friends and treated each other like sisters. And her mom is super nice also.

This second goodies was sent to me by the lovely Love (aka love4creativity on YT). I sent her somethings before because I was so fond of her supporting me on YT and on IG that I wanted to send her a little appreciation gift. She then wanted to send me something in return. I asked her not to but she said that she had already saved somethings for me so I just agreed because who would want to reject that sweet gesture right?

I don't want to make this post long as I have already made a video about this so just watch and see how I reacted and what really surprised me aside from this goodies ^.^

My week #34

If you guys haven't heard, the Philippines was hit by a typhoon (named Maring) and causing alot of damage within Metro Manila. I was stranded at my boyfriends hometown and couldn't get home because there were flood everywhere. Even on the highway! No buses are available. The MRT was suspended. So there is no way for me to get back home.

I left my agenda and all stuff relating to it at home so I couldn't play with it :( I survived without it but I really did missed my planner lol!

Finally I get to go home by Thursday. But on the way home I couldn't help myself but stop by at the mall and look for stationery stuff arggh! Then I filmed a couple of videos (subscribe if you will lol!). wrote a new post on here and painted my nails. And those were the only things I did for this week lol! I know so productive right?!

Here is my video showing my next week's pages and this week's pages :)

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Well I decided to join the bandwagon. Still don't know how to manouver it though lol!

New Storage for my Collection

With the growing stationery collection, I have to move around my desk in my room trying to find the right place for it to consolidate my things. Even though I like my previous set up, I decided to not use my desk to store my stationeries anymore. Instead, I placed my desk at the center edge of my bed and turn it into a tiny filming area for when I make videos for Youtube :)

The first set up when I moved to this room.
My shoe rak was poorly stored at one of my cabinets. I have no use for it so I decide to store it away for the mean time. But for the past few days, I was thinking of pulling it out because I have to use it once again for my shoes that are loitering around outside my bedroom.

I don't know what I was thinking but this idea just popped into my head when I was staring at my desk one night. I guess I got sick and tired about how it looked before. So this happened...

I now stored all my stationeries inside my shoe rak!
Above the shoe rak I decorated it with my golden piggy bank, a picture frame with a picture of me and my boyfriend, a SNSD calendar, my planners, and a few knick knacks.

At the wall I have sticked some BDJ notepad with bible verses that I love.

And this is what the inside looked like...
1st row: all my sticky notes, tiny note pads and notebooks
2nd row: washi tapes, scotch tapes, stickers and sticker book
3rd row: pens and other miscellanious things like inserts, glue tape, dividers, etc.
For now I am really liking how my shoe rack stores everything. I am not satisfied though with how I keep my stationeries in each container. But I love how I get to see all my collections when I open this shoe rack turned stationery storage lol!

my week #24

The highlight of this week would be the weekends.
  • Saturday: My brethren and I conducted a house visitation to a few members of our congregation who have not attended the church for awhile. We visited 6 families to see how are they coping up in life nowadays. They are doing good but of course we are concern because we have not seen them attend the church for a long time.
After the visitation, we went to the market to buy ingredients for our dinner. Because the
Filipinoes are scheduled to cook that day. We opted for grilled Bangus (milk fish) and Liempo
(pork). Then at 7 pm we had our fellowship. It was tiring but worth it. I arrived home around 12
        pm though lol!

  •  Sunday: My family and I were supposed to visit my aunt who arrived from Italy on Saturday night. But then my mom cancelled our trip boo! Anyway, I decided to attend the church instead. After that I went to my boyfriends house. I feel so guilty because I did not know it was fathers day and I didn't greet my dad :( Although he works overseas, I should have messaged him or call him but I didn't :((

Anyway, I joined my boyfriends family in celebrating Father's day. We had dinner at Shakey's
and man my tummy was full lol!

Usually my days gets busy during Saturday and Sunday. That's why I am a bit bummed out that the weekends on my planner have a small space to write. But I am getting used to it though.

inside my christian diary

So, I have been showcasing my planner here in my blog through paperlovestory's activity "my week" posts. But today I will be featuring my other love which is my christian diary that I use on my church activities like fellowships, retreats, and Sunday services. Anything church related I write it on this diary.

This diary is made specifically for the church that I go to. It is made and manufactured in Korea by our Korean brethren. And they ship some here in the Philippines to share with Filipino members of the same church. Every year they produce this diary and the cover is of different color each time.

This yea, they went for a lavender cover.

I don't know what material the front cover is made of but it is so soft and buttery to touch
When you open my diary this is what you will see...

pictures, stickers and name tag from previous retreats
It also came with a monthly view which is nice because every meetings and appointments or any special occasion relating to the church goes directly in there.

At the back of the monthly view, there is a monthly layout again that you can write any important notes. And beside that is a paper dashboard.

This is what the main use of the diary for...

taking down important notes during our services

and is where I use my sitcky notes too
There is also a map at the back portion.

eveything is written in Korean though
 And the back flap
also contains pictures of my brethren and name tags
I try to be creative with this notebook. If I can give time to be creative in my planner why not with my church notebook right? Well as a result, I always enjoy writing on every page of this diary.

my week #23

Hi guys! So i am making this post directly from my phone.just trying this out for the first time :)

On this week, the only important thing that happened was my fellowship with my brothers and sisters at church. I also had a sleep over at the house of one of my closest family in church together with 3 more sisters. We really had a long conversation that we forgot about the time lol! We slept around 4 midnight and our sunday service was at 10!as a result, we were almost late for church! But thank God my brothers and sisters were just greeting each other when we arrived hehe :D

That was it for my week 23! Quite unproductive but still had a blessed weekend♥♥♥

My Week #22

hi guys! :) I know I know... I have no excuse for my absence! But here I am again is what important right? :P

So here is my week!

By the way I just want to share that I made a youtube channel :D the name is MsPassiontea. I made that channel solely for the purpose of anything stationary and guess what?! PLANNERS! hahaha! NO just kidding! I made that channel for any random stuff that I could think about filming. I'm still starting so every video I make I look and sound awkward!! As awkward as I can be though, this week I made 4 videos! Go check it out but please dont hate and laugh at me :( hehehe....

Another thing is, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I just want to scream when I saw that one of my video was mentioned at the Philofaxy weekly video finds in his website. I means it's really not big of a deal but for me it is!!!! It's like a dream come true hahaha! So thank you to the Philofaxy team for taking the time to find my video hehe eventhough it's not really a filofax related but you still add my video to your post.  Thank you once again! :)

So that is all for the highlights of this week and it's a wrap! New week coming up! :)

my week #17

This is a sudden move on my planner this week. I just woke up one morning last week and I am finding myself arranging some pages from my high school planner to my recent one. But then when I went to the bookstore I saw this really pretty and simple planner that caught my eye and I just bought it without thinking. When I went home I just customized everything which is the most exciting part of all.

Anyway, it has been just a very boring day during the weekdays. I had to do alot of cleaning especially on my bathroom that I had to do a major re-organization with. But came Saturday, I was very fortunate enough to be a part of a big event on our church. It was the inauguration of our new church building. And we are so grateful because it was a success. According to our pastor, they heard a very good feedback from our guests. Then after the inauguration we had to clean everything from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor which was fun because all of us, my churchmates and I cooperated with. And then we had a fellowship at 7 pm with our churchmates from Korea who visited and attended the inauguration. It was really an amazing day for all of us. It was all laughter and cheers which is wonderful because we can feel God's presence in each of us that day :)

one of my favorite photo that day with one of our beloved Korean brother :)
Aside from that, two special occasions also passed ;ast week that I didn't get to celebrate :( my 4th year spiritual birthday and my and boyfriend's 37th monthsary. But oh well atleast I get to attend the inauguration of our church which was the most important event that week.

I moved!

After watching so many videos and reading blogs about people's filofaxes that made me drool over how  pretty they customized their pages by the way, I finally gave in! But how I wish it was a filofax. Since I could not purchase a Filofax right now and could not afford in buying one, I opted to settle with a cheap local binder organizer that is a local brand which sadly I do not know what brand is because it does not say on the planner when I bought it.

I got my new planner for only 300 pesos or less than 8 dollars. Really cheap huh?  My plan is to buy a Filofax around October or November just so the inserts that will come with it will be the 2014 ones. Just in time for next year. But I could not wait anymore. I had a very very old planner that I own back in high school that I did not get to use that much. So after endless times of thinking to whether I should use it or not, I finally decided to try it. Atleast the inserts it came with.

I like how sophisticated this looks because of it's color and simplicity. For me, it does not even look like it's  a cheap planner.
I fell in love with all the pockets made inside this planner. The reason why I decided to buy it.
I do not use the pen loop. It's not elastic but it can hold my fat frixion pen.
it has one large pocket at the back which now carries one of my boyfriend's letter to me lol!
These are the inserts that it came with.

Personal Information sheet that I don't plan on filling up.
2012 year at a glance plus 3 more years ahead.

all these miscellaneous pages like international/national dialing, international sizes, metric conversions, etc. etc.
how unique are the directory pages are?
The only throwback about this planner is that it does not come with any monthly nor weekly pages. It only comes with a bunch of note pad type of pages that you can use as you diary pages.

So what I use for my monthly and diary section are these undated inserts that came with my very old planner. And can you believe that these pages are already 13 years old? And since I did not use them back in high school I guess their time is to serve me on this time lol!

The inserts are undated. And I am starting to like it because I can really customize it for my liking.
month on two pages
week on two pages. I am glad that the days are printed. It is sectioned on for areas. the day/date/extra space section, a section for the time of your appointment which annoys me so much but I think I can deal with. The schedule section and the tick boxes.
Overall, I am inlove with my planner. I enjoy setting it up. I can't stop opening, closing and looking at my pages lol! I am super happy I made the choice to move. Although I am still going to use my other planner for different purpose now. Anyway, I am still crossing my finger that before this year ends, I can get my hands on one filofax no matter what type or model it is :)

Summer 2013: Cebu Trip

For the entire Holy Week, I went to Cebu with my boyfriend and his family for a 4 days vacation. We flew in Thursday morning and went back home on Sunday evening. We stayed at their relatives house on our first day then went on the the resort that we were booked at the following day and where we spent most of our vacation.

I don't have much pictures with me because most of the pictures where captured at Rain's phone and he has not uploaded it yet on his facebook so I can download them. However, below are just few of the pictures I have taken on my phone.

Day 1:  Sto. Nino Church and Magellan's Cross.

There was a station of the cross being explained through a mass. I can't really say much about this because I am a christian and we do have different opinion so....

At the back of the church is where Magellan's cross being stand.

Did you know that it was not really the original cross that Magellan stabbed on the ground when they arrived here. According to the caption, the cross in Cebu was just the case where the original cross being housed on. All along I thought it was the original one lol! But oh well....

Day 2: Pado Beach Resort

This resort is like paradise!

It's a small resort in Lapu-Lapu City but the view is so amazing! The water is crystal clear. Their activities includes jetski, diving, island hopping, etc. etc. The staff are very friendly too. And the ambiance is very solemn and relaxing. The price is very affordable. I mean the cottage we stayed on have 2 bedrooms each with air condition system. There were 2 double size beds and 2 single ones. I mean 10 people can actually accommodate that cottage. And for a price of only 2,300 pesos!

The only thing is that, there is no shore in this resort. They built a stair going down on the shoreline but don't get too far or else you'll drown because the water on this area is very steep. But I find it unique though. My first time to experience a shore-less resort lol!
Day 3: Pado Beach Resort (still)

This is by far the best day in our trip. The highlight.....: DIVING!

Warning: Photo Bomb!

Honestly, I feel like a Power Ranger in this suit lol!

Jetskiing under water! oh yeah!
my favorite part. feeding all these fishes!

This was only a dream before. Since I don't know how to swim, I really don't like going to deep waters. But! since Rain is going, I decided to come along with him and make my dream come true! We both were really ecstatic! It was our first time to do diving and we had a blast!!!! We both want to do it again haha! It was really an amazing experience :D

Day 4: Last day- Ayala Center, Lapu-Lapu- Shrine

all 5 of us.

Rain bought this bracelets. the black ones are his and the pink ones are mine :)
We had a short tour on our last day. We went to Ayala mall for buying of "pasalubong". And to buy the famous baby back ribs at Casa Verde. Then we had a snack at Ice Castle. Their Halo-Halo is so delish! Then we went straight at Lapu-Lapu Shrine.

I really enjoyed this trip. The adventures we had are just awesome! Though me and Rain had our moment (meaning argument!) but we resolved it after awhile and just laugh it all off. I can blab about everything but let the pictures do the talking anyway... whew! this post is quite long! I am really tired so good night everyone! :)
